This is a lovely rental, one of my all-time favorites so far in my travels! It is so warm and welcoming that I found it difficult to leave and see the sights because I just wanted to hang out there. Tammi is definitely the quintessential “hostess with the mostess” – very accommodating with food requests and being “johnny-on-the-spot” with questions. Sorry other Seattle rentals, this may be our permanent Seattle stop.

I’m certain that if Airbnb has a dictionary, when you look up the term SuperHost, you will find Tammi’s photo. Tammi is the epitome of what Airbnb ascribes to be. The cottage is perfect! But Tammi is what we all loved about staying her your cottage. We loved the cottage too, but Tammi and her energy are what make the cottage so special!

Tammi’s cottage is so lovely — the photos really don’t do it justice. It contains so many charming details. Tammi has a great design sense and really put a lot of thought into creating a top-notch guest experience. She was a gracious host, with excellent communication, who provided dozens of little extra amenities, from snacks (including fresh plums from a tree in the backyard) to beauty products in the bathroom.

This was my first Airbnb experience and I can’t imagine how it could have been any better! We felt utterly spoiled– from the snacks that Tammi provided on the counter and in the fridge especially for us. Her home was stylish, cozy and comfortable and with her warm personality we felt far more like we were staying over at a friend’s house than anything else. She was charming, helpful, easy to communicate with and enthusiastic to answer any of our questions regarding the city, neighborhood or Seattle. It would be impossible not to fall in love with her cottage. You truly have to force yourself out of the house to go see Seattle as you’d be quite happy just reading a book from her bookshelf, making a cup of tea and settling down on the couch to relax. Her sense of design, the cozy factor and how open she was about sharing her home with us– she made us feel unbelievably comfortable! She’s clearly mastered this Airbnb hosting!

I’ve had the great pleasure to attend a retreat where Tammi was the hostess. Every morning on retreat in Hawaii, I would wake up and walk out into the kitchen where Tammi would delightfully be getting things ready for our day. I loved her warm greeting each morning and the sweet and deeply thoughtful touches she’d add to our days on retreat. I felt supremely taken care of so that I was able to fully relax into being present at the retreat and enjoying my experience. As an AirBnB hostess and guest, I really appreciate the effort and work that goes into those extra touches, because it does take work.
